Erin DelVecchio (Director/Head Teacher)
Erin is known to many as “Mrs. D.”. Erin joined the staff at Killingworth Nursery School in 2002 as the Terrific Tots Coordinator and Teacher. She then became the Head Teacher for the preschool program. In the fall of 2021, Erin took over as Director, while also continuing as Head Teacher. Her love for the school, programs, and children and their families is truly why Erin is dedicated to what she does. She believes that being a part of a child’s early education is an honor, and ensuring they have a positive first experience in school is what she strives for.
Jeanne LoMonaco (Assistant Teacher)
Jeanne joined the staff at Killingworth Nursery School in 2021 as the Assistant Teacher. She has lived in Chester for over 19 years with her husband and two children. Jeanne was a volunteer and later a substitute teacher at Jack and Jill Cooperative Nursery School in Chester. When the opportunity to become an assistant teacher presented itself, she was eager to work with young children again. Jeanne is honored to be a part of an educational environment which fosters students’ personal growth and recognizes each child’s unique needs, abilities and interests.
Courtney Palumbo (Terrific Tots Coordinator/Teacher)
Hi! I’m Courtney, and I’m so excited to be leading the Terrific Tots class at KNS! Before having children of my own, I had the joy of working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and that experience deepened my love for early childhood development. I’m now a mom of two girls (6&9), wife, and we have a lovable (and very big!) Saint Bernard named Ellie. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, playful space where toddlers and their caregivers can connect, explore, and grow together. I love spending time with my own family; whether we’re hosting friends, being outside, or getting cozy with a good book. I can’t wait to learn and play alongside you and your little ones!
