Overview
Our Terrific Tots program is for any child who is two, or who is turning two while participating in the session, along with a parent, grandparent or caregiver. Our Terrific Tots Coordinator will guide the children through activities, art, songs, stories, and exploration. They will enjoy time to play in the fenced playground (weather permitting). It’s a time for children to develop new friendships in a side-by-side play and for adults to meet other parents as well.
Classes
The Terrific Tots program is available one day a week for two-year-olds and a parent, grandparent or caregiver. Classes are held once per week, Monday through Friday, days based on enrollment and the preference of families, for 30 weeks through the year from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. This is a great transition for young children in preparation for preschool. It is a light fun environment where children play and learn with the parent/guardian supporting them. For many children this is there first opportunity for both interaction with other children their age and some of the structure and formalities of group learning.
This program provides a great transition to KNSA’s preschool program for children three and four years old.
