Welcome to Killingworth Nursery School!
The Killingworth Nursery School (KNS) is a non-profit, interdenominational, cooperative preschool. Being a cooperative preschool means that we depend on parent participation through a variety of ways (such as providing needed resources for the classroom, volunteering to serve on the board, etc.).
KNS is licensed by the State of Connecticut and is proud to be an approved Care4Kids Provider. We welcome all children at our school, encouraging them to expand on their interests while recognizing the uniqueness of each child. We strive to bring quality learning experiences to all children, guiding and interacting with the world around us.
Learning is exciting! We want each child to look forward to attending our classes; to feel welcome and excited to see their classmates, while being curious about the class projects and curriculum that will be taught for the day.
